Custom Loyalty Module for Dot & Key

Dot & Key needed a loyalty framework that could drive repeat purchases without being constrained by the limitations of off-the-shelf Shopify apps. Instead of adopting a plug-and-play tool, we built a custom loyalty module designed to handle scale, provide flexibility, and integrate seamlessly with their existing Shopify store and mobile app.

Problem Statement

Traditional Shopify loyalty apps came with recurring costs, limited customizability, and performance issues during peak campaigns. Dot & Key required a solution that could:

  • Be deployed as a custom backend within Shopify

Built on AWS, the backend offers:

  • Cohort-based cashback distribution (e.g., targeting lapsed customers)
